Job Description
Join our dynamic team at a leading textile and bedding manufacturing facility in Archer Heights, Chicago, as a Forklift Operator. This role is vital for managing the movements of materials efficiently throughout our plant to support continuous production.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts to transport materials between loading, unloading, processing, and storage areas.
- Ensure materials are supplied on time to meet production schedules.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on forklifts to ensure operational safety.
- Adhere to safety management practices, including proper use of PPE and participation in safety trainings.
Requirements
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a manufacturing or warehouse setting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally and perform physical tasks such as standing, bending, and walking throughout the shift.
- Own transportation is necessary.
- Willingness to undergo a drug test and background check.
- Looking for a long-term commitment to grow with the company.
