Job Description
We are actively seeking diligent and motivated individuals for a production line. The role involves handling, packing, and stacking materials, ensuring a streamlined operation within our fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities
- Engage in frequent lifting, turning, and bending; handle boxes and rolls weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Operating a paper-converting machine.
- Showcase mechanical abilities in maintaining and troubleshooting machinery.
- Efficiently pack paper rolls, cotton, and other fibers.
- Stack completed orders on pallets methodically.
- Navigate through the storage with a pallet jack.
- Learn and operate advanced packaging machines such as Casetapers and Stretchwrapper.
- Read and interpret part numbers and quantities for precise processing.
- Adherence to our strict drug-free and alcohol-free policy is mandatory.
Requirements
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Possessing some mechanical knowledge is a plus.
- A strong work ethic with a commitment to productivity and efficiency.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Bilingual proficiency (Spanish and English) is highly preferred, though Spanish-only speakers are also encouraged.
- Personal transportation is a must.
- Commitment to the company's stringent punctuality and attendance policies.
- Willingness to work mandatory overtime, especially during the three peak weeks of inventory, including weekends.
