You'll play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in our facility, ensuring a safe and efficient environment for production operations. - Clean and sanitize production line machinery using hot water and approved chemicals.
- Maintain cleanliness in offices, restrooms, production lines, and common areas, ensuring hygiene standards are met.
- Safely remove and dispose of trash and waste materials.
- Clean and sanitize floors, walls, and surfaces, even in wet and slippery conditions.
- Restock cleaning supplies and notify supervisors when inventory is low.
- Inspect cleaning tools and equipment, reporting any maintenance or repair needs.
- Follow safety protocols, including proper use of cleaning chemicals and personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently and meet sanitation schedules.
- Perform additional general labor duties as assigned.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Frequent bending, reaching, and lifting items weighing 25-50 lbs.
- Comfortable working in a wet, humid, and fast-paced environment.
- Experience: 6 months of sanitation work in manufacturing or similar settings.
- Steel-toe waterproof boots are required.
