Job Description
Primary Staffing is recruiting a proactive Warehouse Manager for a prominent logistics company in Bolingbrook.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and optimize WMS: Ensure smooth operations by leveraging warehouse management software to its full potential.
- Client engagement: Attend client review meetings, aligning service deliverables with expectations, and spotting areas for improvement.
- Staff management: Oversee and mentor warehouse and office staff, fostering a team-oriented environment.
- Performance tracking: Regularly produce KPI reports, tracking productivity and identifying areas for operational enhancements.
- Continuous improvement: Stay at the forefront of logistics trends, implementing best practices and innovations.
Abilities & Experience:
- At least 5 years of managerial experience in a logistics setting.
- Expertise in Distribution, Logistics, and Supply Chain processes.
- Strong familiarity with Microsoft tools, especially Excel.
- Demonstrated ability to lead large teams and manage conflicting priorities.
- Proven track record of excellent client relations and collaboration skills.
