Job Description
We are currently hiring BMS Operators (Battery Management System Operators) to join a cutting-edge lithium-ion battery manufacturing facility in Matteson, Illinois. This is an excellent opportunity for detail-oriented individuals who enjoy working with advanced technology, precision assembly, and high-quality manufacturing processes. No previous BMS experience is required, but candidates with electronics or manufacturing experience are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
Starting at $18.00/hr
Night Shift8: 00 PM – 8: 00 AM
Starting at $19.00/hr
Responsibilities
- Assemble Battery Management System (BMS) circuit boards following work instructions and quality standards
- Install electronic components, sensors, connectors, and wiring
- Operate precision assembly equipment, robotic tools, and automated manufacturing systems after training
- Perform detailed visual inspections to ensure product quality
- Handle small electronic components with care and precision
- Meet daily production and quality goals
- Report equipment issues or production concerns promptly
- Follow all quality control procedures and documentation requirements
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE
- Work closely with supervisors, quality teams, and production staff
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Ability to work with very small electronic components
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Comfortable learning advanced manufacturing equipment and technology
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive hand movements
- Ability to lift up to 10 lbs
- Previous manufacturing, electronics, PCB assembly, or precision assembly experience preferred
- Basic computer skills preferred
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
- Clean, high-tech manufacturing facility
- Advanced automated production equipment
- Controlled production environment
- Company-provided cleanroom protective footwear required inside the BMS department
- PPE provided by the company

- Rotating 12-hour schedule (Shift A, B, C & D)
- Overtime available as needed
