Job Description
Join our dynamic food manufacturing team as a Blending Machine Operator. This role is crucial for verifying and preparing batch materials, measuring, and blending ingredients precisely according to customer specifications. The position ensures efficient operation and maintenance of blending processes and equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Verify batch requisition materials and quantities.
- Measure and blend ingredients following specific instructions.
- Operate and maintain auxiliary equipment and blending machinery.
- Record ingredient usage and maintain process control paperwork.
- Ensure equipment and work area cleanliness and sanitation.
- Set up, disassemble, and sanitize the blender and related equipment.
- Train new employees and assist in general labor duties.
- Comply with all safety, quality, and legal requirements, focusing on continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Experience in manufacturing, preferably in the bakery or food industry.
- Preferred: 3-5 years of experience in machine operation.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and work flexible schedules, including overtime.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is highly preferred.
