Customer Field Service Technician

Job Description
Responsibilities
- Provide scheduled preventive maintenance and emergency service on pharmacy systems.
- Install new machines and report product quality issues.
- Coordinate with movers, electricians, and techs for installations.
- Conduct product training for users, including light maintenance.
- Perform quality checks and system performance evaluations.
- Repair or replace small parts and manage spare parts inventory.
- Maintain accurate service documentation and expense reports.
- Report technical issues or opportunities for improvement.
- Communicate updates and findings with internal teams and clients.
Requirements
- Willing to travel 30–70% of the time for service and training.
- Able to work on-call, weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks (kneeling, reaching, handling tools).
- Valid driver’s license with excellent record.
- Associate degree in technical field or 1–3 years of industry experience (preferred).
- Background in engineering, HVAC, automotive, or electro-mechanical service.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical data.
- Proficient with computers, both hardware and software.
- Organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
