Job Description
Join a leading textile and bedding manufacturing company in Archer Heights, Chicago, as a Data Entry Clerk. This role is crucial for maintaining accurate and organized data to support operational efficiency across the company.
Responsibilities
- Accurately input production and inventory data into the company’s system
- Ensure all data entries meet the quality and accuracy standards required in a manufacturing setting.
- Collaborate with production teams to gather accurate information and clarify data discrepancies.
- Manage and update production logs and inventory records, ensuring all entries are current and correct.
- Assist in generating reports to help track production progress and material usage.
- Maintain the confidentiality and security of all proprietary information.
- Support compliance with manufacturing and safety standards within the data management process.
Requirements
- Proven experience in data entry, ideally within a manufacturing or similar industrial environment.
- Familiarity with manufacturing terminologies and processes.
- Excellent typing skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- Ability to stand, bend, walk, and work in a fast-paced environment for the entire shift.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Willing to undergo a drug test and background check.
- At least 6 months of continuous job experience in the last year.
