Job Description
Embark on an exciting career journey with our well-established food manufacturing company in Chicago, IL as a Data Entry & Customer Service Specialist. As a vital member of our Customer Service team, you'll play a key role in maintaining our reputation for exceptional customer interactions and support, while performing data entry tasks necessary for the regular operations of the company.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring client satisfaction.
- Accurately gather customer and billing information, recording details on order forms.
- Confirm the accuracy of customer data and order histories.
- Inform customers about order details, including pricing, shipping schedules, and any possible delays.
- Review and update account and order information consistently.
- Keep track of new product orders and their status.
- Handle modifications in accounts or orders and report accordingly.
- Efficiently manage client pick-up procedures.
- Provide and recommend product information to attract potential new customers.
- Input new customer information accurately into the system.
- Arrange sample orders for both potential and existing customers.
- Address and resolve customer inquiries and concerns effectively.
- Prepare invoices and shipping documents, coordinating with warehouse and sales teams.
- Calculate and convey total product charges, including shipping.
- Coordinate with the warehouse team to verify product availability.
- Process transactions and oversee payment collection.
- Ensure prompt and appropriate management of pending customer calls.
Requirements:
- A minimum of one year of experience in data entry and customer service.
- Bilingual abilities in Spanish and English are preferred.
- The role includes sitting for prolonged periods, repetitive tasks, and occasionally lifting items up to 15 lbs.
- The position is based in an office-like setting within a plant facility.
- Own reliable transportation
