Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and careful Forklift Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be tasked with moving packages and materials around our facilities using a forklift. It's a role that requires precision, attention to safety, and efficiency to ensure that materials and products are always where they need to be.
Responsibilities:
- Unload materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stack them in assigned areas.
- Locate and move stock of products to pallets, crates, or other designated areas for storage or shipment.
- Identify any damages, report shortages, or note any quality deficiencies.
- Transport raw materials to production workstations as needed.
- Inspect machinery regularly to determine the need for repairs and perform routine maintenance to ensure safety.
- Keep accurate and updated records of inventory and activity logs.
- Adhere to all company policies and legal guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
- Assist in maintaining a safe and orderly environment in the facility.
Skills:
- Proven experience as a forklift operator, specifically with clamp forklifts.
- A keen eye for detail and familiarity with industrial equipment.
- Excellent physical condition and coordination to safely operate the forklift.
- Responsible and efficient in handling industrial vehicles.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently.
