Job Description
We're looking for a dynamic individual to join our food production team. This position encompasses a broad range of responsibilities from machine setup to dough mixing.
Responsibilities:
- Set up machines and perform basic troubleshooting to ensure continuous operation and meet quality standards.
- Work in standing positions for entire shifts, which includes climbing steps and ladders.
- Monitor equipment efficiency and follow strict packaging, quality control, and sanitation procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, adhering to safety, GMP, allergen procedures, and SQF requirements.
- Read, understand, and execute recipes accurately, using digital scales and managing ingredient batches efficiently.
- Collaborate across departments, report safety and quality issues promptly, and contribute to team development.
Requirements:
- Experience in operating and maintaining food production machinery.
- Knowledgeable in food safety policies with the ability to troubleshoot process-related issues.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods.
- Proficiency in mathematical skills and understanding of FDA guidelines.
- Bilingual abilities are an advantage.
