Job Description
Join our event logistics team in Round Rock, TX, as a Furniture Handler. This role is crucial for ensuring the safe and efficient handling and transportation of furniture and equipment to and from trade show booths.
Responsibilities:
- Load and unload furniture and equipment safely from transport vehicles.
- Transport items using carts, dollies, and other moving equipment to designated areas.
- Set up furniture according to event plans and specifications.
- Assist in the breakdown and packing of event setups.
- Ensure that all items are transported to and from event venues without damage
- Maintain adherence to all safety protocols during operations.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations and timely setup.
- Physical ability to regularly lift and move heavy items up to 50 lbs.
- Experience in logistics, warehouse management, furniture handling, or event setups preferred.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on preventing damage during handling.
- Flexibility to work variable hours, including evenings and weekends, according to event schedules.
