Job Description

Primary Staffing is recruiting Warehouse Production Associates for a Matteson, IL battery and electronics manufacturing jobsite. This position combines production support and warehouse-style material handling, making it a good fit for candidates who are comfortable moving materials, supporting assembly lines, checking product quality, and working safely in a busy manufacturing environment.
What You Will Do
  1. Supply production lines with materials, parts, or components so teams can continue working efficiently.
  2. Assist with assembly or preparation of battery and electronics components as assigned.
  3. Load, unload, move, stage, or organize inventory and materials within designated areas.
  4. Inspect items visually and help identify quality issues, missing parts, defects, or process concerns.
  5. Use basic tools, production equipment, or tracking processes after proper instruction.
  6. Keep workstations, aisles, and production support areas clean and organized under 5S standards.
  7. Communicate with supervisors, quality staff, logistics teams, and production coworkers to support daily goals.
What We Are Looking For
  1. Warehouse, production, assembly, manufacturing, logistics, or material handling experience is preferred.
  2. Ability to understand work instructions, safety requirements, and daily production expectations.
  3. Attention to detail when handling components, counting materials, or identifying defects.
  4. Team-oriented approach with reliable attendance and a strong safety mindset.
  5. Knowledge of scanners, production reporting, inventory systems, ERP, or MES tools is helpful.
  6. Bilingual English/Spanish or Korean/English communication is a plus.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
  1. Fast-paced production and warehouse support environment with repetitive tasks.
  2. Potential exposure to battery components, electrical parts, production materials, and industrial equipment.
  3. Extended standing is required, including possible 8- to 12-hour shifts.
  4. Repetitive hand/arm movement, bending, reaching, and stooping may be part of the role.
  5. Frequent lifting up to approximately 50 lbs may be required based on assignment.
Schedule and Safety
  1. Full-time schedule with possible overtime based on operational needs.
  2. Shifts may vary, including 1st, 2nd, or rotating schedules.
  3. Steel-toe boots are required for the worksite.
  4. Gloves, safety glasses, and other PPE may be required depending on assigned duties.
  5. Employees are expected to follow all OSHA and client-specific safety policies.
