Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated individual to assist the supervisor in providing a safe work environment for line associates while ensuring the production of high-quality products for our customers. The ideal candidate will prioritize cost-saving practices and efficiencies to minimize waste.
Responsibilities:
- Review production issues, schedules, and product specifications. Collaborate with other departments to prevent downtime.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives plant-wide.
- Assign personnel to workstations and provide direction.
- Maintain documentation and records for the line, including lot tracking, quality checks, and production standards.
- Read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and production reports.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent. Some related work experience and/or training preferred.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also thriving in a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to apply common sense to various situations.
- Proficient in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally and up to 15 pounds regularly.
