Job Description
The Machine Operator is responsible for operating, setting up, cleaning, and performing basic maintenance on production equipment. This role requires reliability, attention to detail, and adherence to safety standards. The operator ensures production targets are met while maintaining high-quality standards.

- Ensure compliance with all safety policies and procedures.
- Operate and monitor production machines to ensure efficiency.
- Set up machines (calibration, cleaning, and adjustments) before production.
- Disassemble and clean equipment as needed for product changes.
- Adjust machine settings to optimize performance.
- Feed raw materials or parts into automatic machines.
- Inspect final products to ensure quality and compliance with customer specifications.
- Troubleshoot production issues and assist team members in problem-solving.
- Follow quality assurance procedures such as weight control and metal detector checks.
- Report equipment abnormalities and follow maintenance guidelines (5S, leaks, lubrication, routing, re-tightening).
- Suggest process improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Maintain records and prepare necessary reports.
- Operate auxiliary equipment such as weigh scales and conveyor systems.
- Report any unsafe conditions or safety concerns to management.
- 3+ years as a Machine Operator (5-7 preferred).
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical training in electromechanics or mechatronics preferred).
- Skilled in machine operation, troubleshooting, maintenance, teamwork, and attention to detail.
- Must stand, walk, turn, and squat throughout shifts.
- Flexible schedule with overtime availability.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) highly preferred.
