Join a leading packaging company as a Maintenance Technician. In this role, you'll be instrumental in maintaining and improving our machine centers, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Implement machine safety enhancements and general housekeeping.- Organize and maintain the maintenance shop and tools.- Execute scheduled preventative maintenance tasks.- Prioritize and respond promptly to maintenance requests.- Troubleshoot mechanical issues in collaboration with machine operators.- Communicate with the Maintenance Manager regarding safety concerns and maintenance strategies.
Requirements:
- Electrical certification is preferred, with strong mechanical skills.- Experience with shop tools like drill presses, grinders, welders, and torches.- Proficient in hydraulic and pneumatic systems, with excellent troubleshooting abilities.- Ability to interpret electrical and mechanical drawings.- Exposure to moving mechanical parts, varying environmental conditions, and loud noises.- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a physically demanding environment.
