Job Description
As a Material Handler, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency of our production operations, specializing in the handling and organizing of materials used in bedding and textile manufacturing in Archer Heights, Chicago.
Responsibilities
- Move and manage materials within the production facility to ensure operations.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and storage facilities.
- Keep precise inventory records and ensure that materials are stored properly.
- Use equipment safely and maintain it in good working condition.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure materials are available for production schedules.
- Support the production team as needed for manufacturing processes.
- Always adhere to safety guidelines and company protocols.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- At least 6 months of continuous job experience in the past year.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
- Capable of standing, bending, and walking throughout the shift in a fast-paced environment.
- Own transportation is necessary.
- Must be willing to undergo a drug test and background check.
