Job Description
Seeking a detail-oriented and dynamic Material Handler in Elk Grove Village. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in forklift operations, ensuring swift and safe movements within our facility.
Responsibilities
- Efficiently and safely move raw materials within the production area.
- Ensure accurate and secure movement of products within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks in a timely manner.
- Demonstrate proficiency in forklift operations; experience with rack loading is beneficial.
- Operate specialized machinery: strong experience with Clamp Truck is highly regarded.
- Ensure effective communication with the team, demonstrating a strong command of English.
- Accurately count, manage, and maintain inventory; a knack for numbers is essential.
- Adhere to the drug-free and alcohol-free workplace policies.
- Ensure punctuality and consistent attendance.
Requirements
- Solid recent experience in forklift operations. Being forklift certified is an advantage.
- The ability to maintain efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with a proven work history.
- Proficient in English, both spoken and written. Bilingual capabilities (English/Spanish) are a plus.
- Readiness to work mandatory overtime, especially during three peak inventory weeks, including weekends.
