Job Description
We are in search of a dedicated Packaging Operator who can ensure safe machine operations while prioritizing quality and efficiency. The role primarily revolves around managing the bundling system and ensuring consistent material flow.
Responsibilities:
- Execute tasks based on factory work orders and both written and verbal directives.
- Set parameters for bundling configurations and piece counts.
- Fine-tune conveyor guides for a seamless product transition within the packaging system.
- Conduct visual product inspections to detect and rectify defects.
- Ensure a clean and organized work environment.
- Facilitate training sessions for peers when assigned.
- Perform minor machine maintenance under guided training.
Requirements:
- Strong mechanical insight coupled with basic math proficiency.
- Familiarity with precision instruments is an advantage.
- Frequent standing, walking, and manual handling of equipment.
- Capable of lifting up to 60 lbs, bending, and other physical maneuvers.
- Thrive in a manufacturing setting with loud noises, moving parts, and occasional exposure to wet conditions.
