Job Description

We are seeking Preventive Maintenance Technicians to support and maintain the reliability of our manufacturing equipment through scheduled and proactive maintenance. This role focuses on preventing breakdowns, extending equipment life, and ensuring production lines operate safely and efficiently.You will work a 12-hour rotating schedule (four days one week, three days the next), with day or night shift options, in a fast-paced manufacturing environment that values safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on production equipment to minimize downtime
- Inspect, service, and maintain electrical and mechanical systems including motors, motor drives, pumps, sensors, hydraulics, pneumatics, and transmissions
- Identify potential equipment issues and recommend corrective actions before failures occur
- Complete maintenance tasks based on PM schedules, work orders, manuals, blueprints, and technical instructions
- Use precision measuring tools such as multimeters and calipers
- Assist with corrective and demand maintenance as needed
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and document completed PM tasks
- Communicate effectively with production teams, peers, and supervisors
- Follow all safety, GMP, and PPE guidelines
Requirements
- Knowledge of electrical systems and wiring (120/480 volts)
- Experience performing preventive maintenance in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Mechanical troubleshooting and machine operation experience
- Plastic extrusion experience is a plus
- Associate degree, technical certificate, or equivalent manufacturing experience
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods; occasional desk work
- Ability to crouch, kneel, and work in confined spaces or outdoors when required
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
- Steel-toe boots required; must follow company GMPs and PPE standards
Shift Details
- 1st Shift: Starting at $26 – $36/hour
- 3rd Shift: Starting at $28 – $38/hour
- Rotating schedule: 4 days one week, 3 days the next
