Job Description
Join our manufacturing team as an Product Inspector & Packer, where you will be crucial in ensuring the quality and packaging of our finished products. This role requires attention to detail, manual dexterity, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and cleanliness.
Responsibilities
- Manually inspect and trim excess material from products using various tools.
- Pack products into appropriate containers, ensuring proper labeling and packaging.
- Oversee machine operations and report any issues to the relevant personnel.
- Maintain ink trays and glue tanks, ensuring they are filled as needed.
- Complete necessary paperwork and apply labels accurately.
- Perform general housekeeping duties to keep the production area clean and orderly.
- Adhere to all safety standards and wear required protective gear.
Requirements
- Experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds frequently.
- Good vision to inspect product quality and ensure precise handling.
- Ability to work in conditions that may include close proximity to moving parts, noise, and dust.
- Frequent standing, walking, and bending are required.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds continuously and up to 50 pounds frequently.
- Work involves exposure to high temperatures, noise, and dust.
- Required safety gear includes hair nets, safety glasses, earplugs, and gloves.
