Job Description
Join our food manufacturing team as a Production Associate, where you’ll help ensure a steady flow of products in a safe, clean environment. You’ll be responsible for placing boxes on the table in front of production machines, removing plastic straps from pallets, and transferring products from the conveyor belt onto pallets. You will also move pallets using a pallet jack and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) throughout your shift.
Responsibilities
- Place boxes on the table in front of the production machinery
- Remove plastic straps that secure boxes on pallets
- Transfer products from the conveyor belt onto pallets
- Use a pallet jack to move pallets to and from work areas
- Follow all GMP requirements and safety protocols for food handling
- Keep the work area clean and organized to maintain food safety standards
Requirements
- Continuous Standing, Walking, Bending, Squatting, Climbing, Kneeling, Pushing and Pulling. Intermittent Sitting
- Must wear non-slip shoes to ensure safety on production floors
- Previous experience in food production or manufacturing is a plus
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and perform repetitive motions
- Dependable attendance and willingness to work full-time, often on your feet
- Must be committed to following GMPs and company policies
- Willing to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
