Job Description

We are recruiting Production Associates for a battery and electronics manufacturing jobsite in Matteson, Illinois. This hands-on manufacturing role supports daily production line operations, including assembly, quality checks, line feeding, material movement, and safe work practices. It is a strong fit for candidates with warehouse, assembly, production, or general labor experience who are ready for steady, full-time work in a fast-paced industrial environment.
What You Will Do
  1. Assemble battery and electronic components by following standard work instructions and supervisor guidance.
  2. Support the production line by loading, unloading, organizing, and supplying materials where they are needed.
  3. Use basic tools and production equipment safely, accurately, and according to task requirements.
  4. Inspect parts and finished work visually to help identify defects, quality issues, or production concerns.
  5. Record or report production output, downtime, material needs, or quality problems as directed.
  6. Maintain a clean and organized workstation using 5S and good housekeeping expectations.
  7. Work with production, quality, logistics, and supervisory teams to keep operations moving smoothly.
What We Are Looking For
  1. Previous experience in manufacturing, warehouse, production, assembly, or material handling is preferred.
  2. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in a structured production environment.
  3. Strong attention to detail, especially when checking components, parts, or finished product quality.
  4. Ability to work well with a team and communicate issues quickly to supervisors or leads.
  5. Experience with scanners, ERP/MES systems, or production tracking tools is helpful but not required.
  6. Bilingual English/Spanish or Korean/English skills are a plus, but not required.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
  1. Manufacturing floor environment with repetitive tasks and production standards.
  2. May involve exposure to battery components, electronic parts, and industrial equipment.
  3. Must be able to stand for extended periods, including 8- to 12-hour shifts as needed.
  4. Must be able to perform repetitive hand and arm movements, bending, reaching, and stooping.
  5. Frequent lifting may be required, up to approximately 50 lbs depending on the task.
Schedule and Safety
  1. Full-time opportunities; overtime may be available based on production needs.
  2. Shift schedules may vary, including 1st shift, 2nd shift, or rotating shifts.
  3. Steel-toe boots are required for this worksite.
  4. Safety glasses, gloves, and additional PPE may be required depending on the assigned task.
  5. All employees must follow OSHA standards and client-specific safety policies.
