Job Description
Join our team at a leading textile and bedding manufacturing company located in Archer Heights, Chicago, as a Quilting Machine Operator. This role is essential for operating quilting machines to create high-quality products.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor quilting machines to ensure efficient production of quilted fabrics.
- Read and interpret production orders to set up machines according to specifications.
- Perform regular maintenance on quilting machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Inspect finished quilted products to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Coordinate with the production team to resolve any issues and maintain workflow efficiency.
- Adhere to safety and cleanliness standards in the production area.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Machine Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with industrial quilting machines and production techniques is a big plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and perform physical activities such as standing, bending, and walking throughout the shift.
- Must have own transportation.
- Willingness to undergo a drug test and background check.
- At least 6 months of continuous job experience in the last year.
