Job Description
You will play an essential role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our production facilities. This position offers a great opportunity to contribute to ensuring the safety and quality of different food products.
Tasks:
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize production equipment, tools, and work areas to meet safety standards.
- Efficiently manage waste disposal, ensuring that all areas are free of debris and contaminants.
- Safely use and store cleaning chemicals, following all safety protocols and guidelines.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities for cleanliness, reporting any issues or repairs needed.
- Adhere to all relevant health and safety, as well as food safety regulations and company policies.
- Operate sanitation equipment like pressure washers, foamers, and vacuums.
- Maintain accurate sanitation logs and records in compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with production staff to ensure a smooth transition between production and cleaning processes.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of sanitation processes and chemical handling, or willingness to learn.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical capability to stand for long periods, bend, stoop, and lift objects up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety guidelines.
