Job Description
Join our team as a Sanitation Worker at our food production facility. In this vital role, you'll ensure our production areas are clean and sanitary, helping us provide safe and high-quality food products.
Tasks:
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize all production machinery and equipment following each batch of food products.
- Regularly sweep, mop, and maintain the floors and surfaces within the production area to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Properly dispose of waste materials and ensure recycling practices are followed.
- Safely use and store cleaning chemicals, following proper handling procedures.
- Participate in scheduled deep cleanings of the entire facility, including less accessible areas.
- Conduct regular checks to ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the production area.
- Promptly report any sanitation issues or potential hazards to the management team.
- Strictly follow all sanitation protocols and guidelines set by the company and regulatory bodies.
Requirements:
- Ability to follow detailed cleaning procedures and use cleaning chemicals safely.
- Capability to work for extended periods and perform tasks like lifting, bending, and reaching.
- Capacity to handle heavy cleaning equipment and materials.
- Ability to read and understand safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Prior experience in a sanitation role, especially in a food production setting, is preferred but not mandatory.
