Job Description
Join our established textile and bedding manufacturing company in Archer Heights, Chicago, as a Sewing Operator. This role is integral to our production process, focusing on sewing various bedding components to meet high standards of quality and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Operate industrial sewing machines to assemble bedding and textile products.
- Read and interpret sewing patterns and instructions to ensure products meet design specifications.
- Perform basic maintenance on sewing machines to ensure their optimal operation.
- Collaborate with the production team to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area under safety protocols.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Machine Operator in a manufacturing environment. Experience as a Sewing Operator is a plus
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and stand, bend, and walk during shifts.
- Must have own transportation.
- Willing to undergo a drug test and background check.
- At least 6 months of continuous job experience in the last year.
- Looking for a long-term opportunity to grow within the company.
