Job Description
Join our team as a Slitter Operator, where you'll play a crucial role in our production line, ensuring the efficient processing of materials in line with customer specifications and safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Operate slitter machinery according to written instructions and production orders.
- Measure steel, complete paperwork, and aid in general facility maintenance.
- Meet production schedules, communicate effectively with the team, and identify product quality.
- Perform regular safety training and report any process issues.
- Conduct activities ethically and within company policy guidelines.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in machine operator roles, preferably but not necessarily as a slitter operator.
- Ability to work independently and with others, frequently lifting/moving up to 50 pounds.
- Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands, and reach with hands and arms.
- Adherence to safety protocols in a manufacturing environment.
