Job Description
This role is pivotal in coordinating activities related to replenishing raw materials, optimizing material flow while considering warehouse capacity, and minimizing storage costs and material scrap. The Analyst will develop, maintain, and communicate the Materials Requirements Plan (MRP) to meet customer needs effectively.
Activities:
- Execute MRP development, maintenance, and communication, including order placement and delivery confirmations.
- Collaborate with production planning and other departments to ensure service continuity and cost management.
- Track key performance metrics and attend meetings to support initiatives.
- Validate product and material consistency with customer requirements, escalating deviations as necessary.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field is preferred.
- 2-4 years of experience in production planning.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a strong understanding of ERP and MRP systems.
- APICS certification is a plus.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring crouching, reaching, standing, walking, and repetitive motions.
- Sedentary work with occasional lifting of up to 10 pounds.
- Technical skills in Microsoft Office, Teams, and understanding of ERP/MRP systems.
- Strong time management, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
