Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and skilled welder, proficient in TIG welding, with STICK welding experience as an added advantage. This role involves driving as part of work duties and will require passing a welding test.
Activities:
- Perform TIG welding on various materials, ensuring high-quality joins and finishes.
- Utilize STICK welding techniques effectively, if needed.
- Read and interpret blueprints and design sketches to determine work requirements.
- Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment with a focus on safety.
- Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet standards, specifications, and quality requirements.
- Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate protective gear during welding tasks.
Requirements:
- Proven experience and skill in TIG welding; STICK welding experience is beneficial.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to drive as part of the job.
- Ability to pass a welding test conducted by company staff at a later date.
- Knowledge of safety standards and protocols in welding operations.
- Physical stamina and strength to handle heavy equipment and work in various positions.
